The Fizzle-retardant blouse is a robe introduced in Dragon Quest IX designed for female mages. As its name states, it helps protect the wearer against the effects of Fizzle.

Dragon Quest XI
The fizzle-retardant blouse can only be made with the Fun-Size Forge and can only be equipped by Veronica. The blouse can be sold for 540 gold. It has a base defence bonus of +21, a magical might bonus of +8, and increases protection against Fizzle by 30%. When fully upgraded, it has a defence bonus of +24 and a magical might bonus of +10, but the resistance against Fizzle does not increase.
