Weird Dance is an ability in the Dragon Quest series. It reduces the MP of the target, and is related to the skills Weirder Dance and Weirdest Dance
Appearances
Dragon Quest V
Weird Dance is learned by several monster companions such as the Goodybag. MP reduced is 1~2, being the weakest of it's skill group.
Dragon Quest VI
Weird Dance is learned by advancing to either rank 3 of the Dancer vocation or rank 4 of the Merchant vocation. In this installment the skill received the same upgrade as Drain Magic, meaning that magic absorbed is the user's level/4 +5.
Dragon Quest VII
Dragon Quest IX
Used as a dance by certain enemies like the Bag o' laughs.
The hero can learn a Party trick version by talking to a ghost in The Bowhole.
