Red will learn Butterfly Bop when she invests 100 points into her fan skillset. It costs 5 MP, and deals 150%~200% damage to all enemies. It is classified as a dance in the game's programming, and can thus be sealed with Ban Dance.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark PrinceEdit

Butterfly Bop costs 15 MP and damages all enemies, based on one-tenth of the user's agility stat. It is learned through the Bobby Dazzler, Pop Diva, and Rug Cutter talents.

Dragon Quest TactEdit

Butterfly Bop can be learned by Maya at level 33. It costs 111 MP to cast, has a range of three squares in front of her, and inflicts major typeless spell damage to all enemies in a range of three squares horizontally. Upgrading the spell increases its damage and reduces the MP it costs to cast.
