Death scorpion

The Death scorpion is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in the original game. It is a powerful and lethal variety of the Scorpion.

CharacteristicsEdit

Death scorpions are arachnids with a highly protective dull pink exoskeleton that safeguards their reddish undersides. In their original appearance, the scorpions had teal-coloured exoskeletons protecting a red underside. This colour scheme would not be reused until both Monster Parade and Keshi Keshi. In later games, the scorpions gained the ability to inflict poison and even instantly kill with their deadly stings, true to their moniker.

AppearancesEdit

Dragon QuestEdit

Death scorpions are the strongest scorpion in the original game. They have high Attack and Defence, which makes them challenging even with their relatively low HP.
