Earth Strike
Earth Strike is a recurring skill first introduced in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai as one of the three fundamental skills of the Avan-style school of spearmanship. The spear counterpart of Earth Slash, it focuses on raw physical power and penetration.

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of DaiEdit
After Hyunckel adopts Larhart's spear in place of his old sword, he studies the Book of Avan and learns that the Hero created versions of his Earth, Sea and Sky techniques for non-sword weapons as well. With his experience using Earth Slash and Wave Slash, he is able to master their spear counterparts after only a few days of training.
