Fine fur

Fine fur is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. It is a bushy bunch of warm fur taken from a beast or other monster that is used as a crafting ingredient.

Fine fur is used as a material for crafting clothing, furniture, and some weapons. It can be purchased from a material shop for 160 gold or dropped by various monsters, including Feralballs, Bunicorns, Brownies, Hat hamwitches, Jailcats, Gryphons, Orc chieftains, Orc kings, Trolls, Blue fangs, Boss trolls, Orc queens, and Heligators.

Fine fur can be dropped by Platypunks, Splatypunks, Silver sabrecubs, Chihuawyrms, Crack-billed platypunks, Boss trolls, Silver sabrecats, Gryphons, and Foo dogs, as well as their vicious and malicious counterparts, and can also be purchased from the roving emporium in the Dundrasil Region for 300 gold. It can be sold for 75 gold. Fine fur is used in the following recipes for the Fun-Size Forge:
