Sir Sanguinus is a boss in Dragon Quest IX, found in mid-level grottos.

Characteristics
Sir Sanguinus is a skeleton knight dressed in red armour astride a horse. It wears a horned helmet and is armed with a crimson steel lance. The horse it rides in battle is brown with a grey mane.
Story
In Dragon Quest IX it is hinted from his speech before the battle that Sir Sanguinus is one of the ten monsters that were created by Zenus remains (due to Corvus' attack) and that he was his blood.
