Caster Sugar is a recurring ability in the Dragon Quest series. It increases the user's magical might & magical mending by one level. Its name is a pun based on "caster sugar", a type of very fine sugar that is used to make various sweets and mixed drinks.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
Caster sugar can be learned by Rab through the Enlightenment panel in his character builder for 12 skill points. It will boost his Magical might and Magical mending by 25% for 4-6 turns and costs 16 MP to use. It can be stacked, boosting his magical power to 50%.
