The Pickled slime is a new monster in the Dragon Quest series and it was introduced in Dragon Quest X. It is a yellow variant of the bubble slime with mushrooms growing on its body.

Characteristics

The pickled slime is a Slime that looks like a puddle of melted yellow clay with what appears to be mushrooms growing amidst the muck surrounding it. Its Japanese name, nukadoko slime, refers to a fermented bed of rice bran that is used for pickling vegetables that was developed in the 17th century.

The pickled slime appears as an A-rank monster of the Slime family. It can learn Fuddle, Swoosh, and Spore Breath naturally and its Leader Perk increases the party's resistance against confusion by 25%.
