The Mercury's bandana, also known as the scarf or AGL scarf, is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series which first appeared in the Super Famicom remake of Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation.
It typically increases the wearer's Agility. In later appearances, it has become a piece of headwear rather than an accessory.

The Mercury's bandana has an Agility bonus of +30 and changes the wearer's Personality to Bat out of Hell. It is received as a prize for turning in 70 Mini medals (65 in Cell phone versions of the game) to the medal collector in Aliahan. The bandana only appears in remake versions of the game.

The Mercury's bandana is an accessory that increases Agility by +15.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
The Mercury's bandana has an Agility bonus of +30 and a Style bonus of +10. It can be equipped by all characters. They are sold at Wilted Heart in the past for 970 gold coins and can be sold for 485 gold coins. Mercury's bandanas can also be won as prizes from the Lucky Panel at the Casino.

The Mercury's bandana is a piece of headwear that increases Defence by 23 and Agility by 15. It can only be worn by the Hero.
