Randolfo, better known by his full title of Randolfo the Tyrant, is the estranged father of Psaro and the undisputed master of Nadiria in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince.
Appearance and Personality[edit]
Randolfo embodies his title perfectly, ruling over the circles of Nadiria with an iron fist and sparing not an ounce of compassion even for his own sons. He mocks Psaro for his weakness and curses him to be unable to harm monsters, thus rendering him unable to ever challenge him directly. Randolfo is highly egotistical, naming his eldest son Dolph with the diminutive form of his own name instead of granting him a distinct calling.
Randolf takes matters of Nadirian state very seriously, and sired three sons with different mothers as an experiment to see which combination of races would create the most suitable heir to his reign. He sees his eldest son Dolph as the only success, being the product of monsters, and singles the half-human Psaro out as a wretched mistake.
