Echonomist is a trait in the Dragon Quest Monsters series that grants casters a chance to double-dip on spells.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark PrinceEdit
Monsters with the Echonomist trait have a 10% chance to cast the same spell twice in the same turn in single-player battles, and a 20% chance in multiplayer battles. When the trait activates the MP price of a spell increases by 50%.
