Romaly

Romaly is both a kingdom and a castle/town found in Enix's Dragon Warrior III. During the adventures of Erdrick, the king's crown is stolen by Kandar. Erdrick eventually recovers the crown for the king, who recklessly decides Erdrick would make a better ruler over Romaly than himself. After a brief rule as King of Romaly, Erdrick eventually discovers the former king in the town's casino and after a brief conversation the former king decides it is far more important for Erdrick to continue on his journey, and so the once former king becomes King of Romaly once more. As Erdrick leaves, the king informs Erdrick that the throne will be waiting for him when ever he wishes to be king again.
