Tooth and Claw is a souped-up skill that allows the user to lash out with a maximum power strike.

Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake[edit]

Tooth and Claw is the souped-up version of Thin Air and costs 20 MP. It deals 450% Strike-element damage to one monster.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]

Tooth and Claw can be learned by Matilda at level 82 and costs 120 MP to use. It has a range of up to three squares away from her in any direction, and deals 300% potency surehit physical damage to a single enemy twice that ignores certain damage reducing effects. Since it is a Coup de Grâce, it takes 2 turns to charge and can only be used twice per battle. Upgrading the ability increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use.
