The Beckoning bell is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series, introduced in Dragon Quest X as a counterpart to the Banishing bell. It is a bell that makes the wearer more likely to be targeted by the enemy's attacks.

Dragon Quest X[edit]
The Beckoning bell has a Style bonus of +3 and makes it easier for enemies to target the wearer in battle. It can be received by exchanging 15 Mini medals. With accessory synthesis, the Style bonus can be increased and it can gain a small bonus to Attack or max HP.
- In the Offline version of the game, it has a Charm bonus instead of Style, but otherwise has the same effects.

The quick recipe for the beckoning bell can be received from King Flaminio in exchange for 2 Mini medals on the Stonecloud, while the classic and luxury recipes can be dropped rarely by Hammerhoods.
Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy's End[edit]
The Beckoning bell increases the chance of being targeted by 10, reaching to a total of 25 when it is fully upgraded. When it is fully upgraded, it will also gain a Deftness bonus of +17 and has a chance to randomly attract the foes' attention. The bell can be obtained by exchanging 2 Mini medals once or can be dropped by Jailcats and Winged sabrecats.
