The Evil Scorpion is an giant Scorpion first introduced in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. It seems to be evil regardless of the Dark Lord Hadlar's influence.

The Evil Scorpion is summoned by the Sage Varon in an attempt to kill Princess Leona. It manages to poison her before being killed by Dai.
