Dragon Family (Japanese Katakana: ドラゴン Romanji:Doragon) refers to monsters in Dragon Quest series that take on forms of dragons, lizards, dinosaurs, snakes, or turtles; however, some dragon-shaped monsters would be classified as Aquatic or Beast. Usually, these monsters have the ability to breathe fire and many possess skills that can envenom enemies. In the Monster series of games, Dragons are one of the main families. They possess high attributes, though they grow slowly.
