Sandstorm is an ability in the Dragon Quest series.

It blinds enemies with dusty debris and reduces their accuracy to 5/8ths (62.5%).

Sandstorm is used by Foetid ferret, Flatulent ferret, Mother ocker, and Drag-goon.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation

Sandstorm is learned at the first rank of the Thief vocation and targets all enemies. In the DS remake the skill's range was reduced to one enemy group. It is used by the enemies Prison guard and Chompoceros.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past

Sandstorm is again learned at rank 1 of the Thief, but can also be acquired at Rank 4 of the Mimic vocation. In the 3DS remake the skill's range was reduced to one enemy group.
