Appearances

Dragon Quest VIII

Exclusive to the 3DS port of VIII is Feel the Beat, a variant of Crackerwhack learned by Morrie once he puts 100 points into his club skill tree. It hits all enemies for 30% more damage than his normal attacks, and has a 1/8th (12.5%) chance to stun foes for one turn. It costs 16MP to use, and does not use the Strike/Rock attribute as with Boulder Toss.

Dragon Quest IX

This ability is learned with 88 skill points allocated into Hammer skill. It deals 160~190 damage for 12 MP. This "piercing" effect is excellent for dealing with sturdy foes, but unfortunately the Metal Slime family is immune.
