The Geno Malroth, formerly known as Genosidoh, is a recurrent monster in the Monsters subseries and it was introduced in the original Dragon Quest Monsters 2. This monster is the assumed final form of Dragon Quest II villain, Malroth.

Geno Malroth is an evolution of Malroth, during this transformation Malroth lost a pair of arms, but it gained another pair of wings (smaller than the first ones) that are situated in its knees, making them resemble Greygnarl and Barbarus arm/wings; and its tail became bigger and thicker and gained a second head at the point of it, a dragon head. Also its scaly skin became darker, now dark purple and saffron yellow. - After transforming, Geno Malroth has gained the color scheme of Dragonlord. Even the head of its tail is similar to Dragonlord's head.
- If you see Geno Malroth's appearance and name, it is quite obvious that this monster was meant to be synthesized from Malroth and the geno dragon. However, it must have been changed for unknown reasons. In Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key, by comparing Geno Malroth's tail and legs and Geno dragon's torso and arms, you can easily see the coincidence.
