The Hero can use Firebird Throw as a boomerang technique after investing 32 skill points into the associated skill. It hits all enemies for 36~45 Fire damage.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

This ability is learned with 58 skill points invested into Boomerang skill. The technique hits up to 7 random enemies for 0.30% Fire-element damage per strike. Costs 4 Mp to use and its innate Fire trait can be stacked with the Flametang boomerang and Banefire boomerang.
