Über Beastsbane (超魔獣キラー, it. Super Demon Beast Killer) is a monster trait added to the series in the seventh game of the spin off series. It increases damage against monstrous animals and lowers their resistances.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit]
All types of damage dealt by the possessor to the beast family is now tripled, and the trait lowers the target's resistances by 10% when targeted by the trait possessor. This increases elemental damage and increases the chances of debilitation, instant death, and status ailments to hit the target. The trait also combines with the effects of Beast Tamer for quintuple damage.
