In the Dragon Quest III remakes, meathead is a personality that improves strength growth, but reduces agility, wisdom, and luck growth.
The hero cannot become a meathead at the start of the game.
Other party members have a chance to be a meathead when recruited as any class, depending on their stat bonuses.
An existing character becomes a meathead permanently by reading the Diary of a Hardman book, or temporarily while wearing the strength ring accessory.
