The pirate's hat, also known as the captain hat, is a recurring hat in the Dragon Quest franchise.
Appearances
Dragon Quest VII
The pirate's hat has a defence bonus of +19 and a style bonus of +21. It can be worn by the Hero, Ruff, and Sir Mervyn. It can be purchased for 2,800 gold and sold for 1,400.
Dragon Quest VIII
The pirate's hat has a defence rating of +30. It can only be worn by the Hero or sold for 1,400 Gold Coins. It is obtained as a dropped item by Captain Crow.
