Perfect panacea (also called greater panacea) is a fantastic healing item in the Dragon Quest series. It removes poison, paralysis, sleep, confusion, and restores a lot of HP.
Dragon Quest VIII
The Greater panacea can restore all HP to a single character in addition to undoing various status ailments and can be sold for 880 Gold Coins.
Dragon Quest IX
Perfect panaceas cure poison, paralysis, sleep, and confusion in addition to restoring around 90 HP. They can be sold for 245 gold, but can't be bought. You need 1 Panacea, 1 Angel bell, and 1 Wakerobin to make this using Alchemy. Perfect panaceas are needed in many alchemy recipes, so it's a good idea to have a lot of them.
Description
- Fully restores HP of a single ally and cures a variety of status abnormalities. (Description when selecting the Greater panacea in PS2 Dragon Quest VIII.)
