The gigant armour is a recurring set of armor in the Dragon Quest series. It is a powerful set of armor reserved for only the strongest characters and it protects the wearer against fire and ice attacks.

Dragon Quest VII
The gigant armour has a defence bonus of +92 and a style bonus of +15. It can only be equipped by the Hero and Aishe. It can be purchased on the Sea Dragon for 35,000 gold and sold for 17,500 gold. Gigant armour can also be won as a prize from the Lucky Panel at Buccanham Casino.
Dragon Quest VIII
The gigant armour has a defence bonus of +95 and can be sold for 9,000 Gold Coins. Only Yangus can wear it. It can be purchased at Tryan Gully or made through alchemy with two Mighty armlets and Bandit mail.
