the daughter of the wealthy man, Ludman. You first meet her as a child, but you only see her. She is returning to her home with her father (and in the DS version, her sister Derorah). Ten years later, you are on your travels when you come to Salabona, the place where the Zenethian Shields is supposed to be. It is in the hands of the Ludman family. Ludman is looking for a man worthy to marry Flora. You venture into a cave and locate the Ring of Fire. You then, with the help of your old friend Bianca, travel into a watery cave and locate the Ring of Water. After returning to Salabona, Flora sees that Bianca has feelings for the hero, and that the hero might feel the same. It is decided that the hero will choose who he wants to marry. If you pick Flora, she will say "She will be a wife who will depends on you for protection", but you can choose her anyway. After the wedding, Flora wants to go with you on your journey, but they have to ask Ludman first. he says that only is you do something for him will he let Flora go with you. You and Flora then travel to a nearby shrine to check the color of a jar. Flora is then able to go with the hero. They visit the desert, and learn that the hero is from Granvania and that his father was king. They travel over a mountain pass to reach Granvania, and the hero learns that Flora is pregnant, and also that Ludman isn't really her father After the hero is made king, Flora gives birth to twins, a boy and a girl. During the night, Flora is captured. The hero goes to her rescue, but in the process they are both turned to stone and seperated. The hero is freed eight years later by his kids and Sancho, his father's best friend. The party then learns that Flora is the desendent of a Zenithian, implying that her true parents are from Zenithia. After two more years, Flora is finally freed and the family returns to Granvania. They then travel to the underworld to face Mildrath. As a fighter, she can use a small variety of weapons. She can mainly use whips, staffs and some swords. She is one of the best characters in the game for magic. She has a very ranged field of magic; healing spells, attack spells, support spells, and field spells. Also, being the daughter of a very rich family, her father will send her two gifts at s certain point in the game.--> | the daughter of the wealthy man, Ludman. Nera Briscoletti (Flora in fan-translations) is a character and possible party member in Dragon Quest V. She is a blue-haired maiden and one of Rodrigo Briscoletti's two daughters.
Appearance and Personality
Nera is a gentle and modest girl, a stark contrast to her rude and outspoken sister Debora. Her outfit is a bright white and pink affair, its intricacies reflecting the rich family she comes from.
Story
The player will first meet Nera at the start of the game where she is still a child, seeing both her and her sister for a short time before moving on in the story.
Nera will not be seen again until the second generation, where the Hero will catch her runaway dog Bingo shortly after entering Mostroferrato for the first time.
Abilities
Of the three possible wives for the Hero, Nera is the most able when it comes to magic and relies more on spell usage than Bianca and Deborah.
