The Spiked Armour (Originally Swordedge armor and Blade armor) is a recurring armor in the Dragon Quest franchise. It causes recoil damage on any attacker.

Dragon Quest III
The spiked armour has a defence bonus of +55. One set of it can be found in Gondo Cave and can't be sold in the NES Version.
In the GBC Version, it can be purchased at a shop at the Pachisi Board in Kol for 6,500, and sold for 4,875.
Dragon Quest IV
The spiked armour has a defence bonus of +50. The secret armour store in Endor sells this.
Dragon Quest V
The spiked armour once again has a defence bonus of +55.
Dragon Quest VIII
The spiked armour has a defence bonus of +68. Only the Hero and Yangus can equip it.
