The elevating shoes, also known as the Shoes of happiness and Luck shoes are a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series. They became a piece of footwear when shoes and boots became a separate equipment slot.

The elevating shoes (referred to as Luck shoes in the Game Boy Color Version) can be dropped by Metal babbles and can be sold for 75 gold. The shoes grant its wearer one experience point per step.

The elevating shoes are an accessory that increases luck by 50, and grants EXP while walking.
Dragon Quest VII
