The Disastropod (formerly Parasnail) is a monster in the game Dragon Quest VII. It can be found in the Underwater City in the past, the Coastal region in the past, and Coral Lake in both the past and present.
Characteristics
Brightly coloured beasts that lure unexpecting undersea adventurers in close with their shiny shells. They slam into foes at full force by rolling and ramming into foes, fully safe in their shells. Their silky slimey touch is also capable of putting adventurers in a state of paralysis, leaving them open to attack.
Etymology
The name originates from gastropods, the term for the class of molluscs known as snails.
