Victorious Armour is the initial form of the Legendary armour, the most durable plate armour in [[Dragon Quest IX]] that surpasses even the fabled [[Erdrick]]'s armour. It may be equipped by [[Warrior]]s, [[Minstrel]]s, [[Gladiator]]s, [[Paladin]]s, [[Armamentalist]]s, and members of the [[Luminary]] vocation. It boosts [[Defense]] by 78, and has the powerful effect of restoring HP and MP to the wearer as the party travels on the map. It is obtained 2% of the time from [[Excalipurr]] in Grottoes. It can be upgraded through [[Alchemy]] into Glorious Armour, and further into Mythical Armour. By way of an alchemiracle, it can reach its true potential as the Legendary Armour.
