Goober is a character and eligible party member in Dragon Quest VI.
Recruitment
Goober is an optional slime buddy exclusive to the DS remake and it's mobile phone port. Sulking in the slime den at Slimopolis, he mopes about his piddling potential and hopes to become as capable as the slime the player enters into the competition one day. Once the player has conquered slimopolis the owner of the monster arena, Sledge, will offer Goober to the player in the hopes that they can galvanize the glob and make him the best he can be.
