The Hades' helm is a recurring helmet in the Dragon Quest series. It is a purple helmet with yellow horn-like protrusions and a fur collar and is typically a cursed piece of equipment.

The Hades' helm has a defence bonus of +30. It can only be worn by certain monster companions.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

The Hades' helm has a defence bonus of +33 but it is cursed. It is found in the Pirate's Cove and can be sold for 4,250 gold. It can be used to either make a Mythril helm or a King cobra claw.

Recipe: Mythril helm = Hades' Helm + Saint's ashes

Recipe: King cobra claw = Hades' helm + Cobra claw
