Hornbull
Hornbulll is a boss monster found in Dragon Quest Treasures. It is one of the three ancient ones created by Madra and Padra to guard the way to the treasure of treasures.

CharacteristicsEdit
Hornbull is a giant waterbuffalo with grey skin, black horns that turn blood red at the tips, and a series of rocky osteoderms that emerge from the forearms as shin guards, the beast's shoulder region along it's spine, and around the tip of it's tail in lieu of a normal bull's tuft of fur. A single teal gem is set in the stones below it's neck, which is it's weak spot. Like the other guardian beasts, it was created as a means to test the worthiness of those who seek the seven fabled Dragonstones.
As implied by it's title, the Sentinel of the Sands, Hornbull embodies the Earth-element and charges forth with the unstoppable might of a landslide. This bullheadedness can be exploited in battle though, as the boss fight arena is filled with pillars that the player can goad it into charging toward to stun it briefly.

In addition to it's boss battle, Hornbull's likeness is used for Treasure No. 720, which is classified as a Draconian memento and has a base value of 1,500,000. Furthermore, a stronger version of the beast can be fought as a boss battles in the treasure portals during the post-game. These fights appear randomly in any treasure portal found in Draconia.
