The Vesta gauntlets are a powerful pair of gauntlets in Dragon Quest IX. They are the initial form of the Sol Invictus gauntlets, the most protective pair of gauntlets in the game.

Etymology
These gauntlets are named after the Roman goddess Vesta, who is the goddess of the hearth, home, and family. In the original Japanese version, the gauntlets are named after Kagutsuchi, the god of fire in Shinto mythology.
