Song of Fire and Ice is a breath skill that combines opposing elemental forces into an attack of apocalyptic might that no man or monster can hope to resist.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined[edit]
Song of Fire and Ice is one of two attacks the Dragonlord will use when he is called forth into battle through the Summon Dragon skill. It deals 370~430 non-elemental damage to all foes and scales to the level of the Monster Master who summoned him, reaching to 930~990 damage at level 90. Due to the attack's nature, the only monsters able to endure it are the nigh-invulnerable metal slimes.
Etymology[edit]
- The breath attack's name is a homage to both the A Song of Ice and Fire fantasy novel series written by George R.R. Martin and the 1983 film Fire and Ice, a collaboration between artist Frank Frazetta and director Ralph Bakshi
