Armour Harmer

Armour Harmer is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It is a technique commonly used by the Restless armour and its variants that delivers a shockwave from their swords that reduces the Defence of a group of enemies.

Dragon Quest X[edit]

Armour Harmer can be used by Restless armours, Lethal armours, and Schwarzchulds, inflicting damage to any characters in a fan-shaped area in front of them and lowering their Defence by one stage. It can also be learned by a Restless armour monster companion by investing 40 skill points into their Stray Sword skill.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit]

Armour Harmer can be used by Infernal armours and Gyldenbritches, as well as their vicious variants. It inflicts around 60 damage to the party and lowers their Defence by one stage. The variant used by the vicious monsters inflicts around 110 damage.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]

Armour Harmer can be learned by Schwarzchuld at Level 32, Gyldenbritches at Level 42, and costs 36 MP to use. It has a range of two squares in front of them, inflicts 175% potency physical damage to all enemies in a range of three squares horizontally, and has a chance to lower their DEF.

Dragon Quest Treasures[edit]

Armour Harmer is a skill exclusive to Lethal armours. It is an oversized sword swing that inflicts immense slashing damage for 6 MP.
