Schwarzchuld

From Dragon Quest Wiki

The Schwarzchuld is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest X.

It is a stronger variant of the Restless armour clad in pitch-black armor.

Characteristics[edit]

Schwarzchulds are animated suits of black armour that wield a longsword and round shield in battle. Their armour and shields are chased with gold and they have gold plumes on their helmets, making them appear similar to the Infernal armour's appearance in VIII. In battle, they attack with various sword techniques, can cast support magic on their allies, and call for help from Cureslimes to heal them.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest X[edit]

Schwarzchuld appears as the Rarefied monster version of the Restless armour starting in Version 2.2. It can attack with Armour Harmer and Lightning, cast Kabuff on its allies, and call upon Cureslimes for backup.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]

Schwarzchuld appears as a S-rank monster of the Inorganic family. It can be scouted by redeeming 2,000 Arena Medals in the Swap Shop and it can be fully awakened by purchasing Schwarzchuld Crystals for 800 Arena Medals each up to 10 times.
