The glad rags are a set of poofy parade leader clothes that help the wearer avoid being smacked by enemies in spite of how loud the outfit is. The superior version is the appropriately named gladder rags.

The guide for creating the outfit, Glam Gear for Go-Getters, is the reward for completing quest #35: Madame Labouche's Life Lesson in L'Académie during the second act of the game. If Sylvando equips this armour along with the tiara tremenda then he will be granted the accolade of The Superstar.
