The Master of Nu'un (魔神ジヤダーマ Majin Jadama) is the first boss in the second act of Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies. Defeating him gives the first golden fygg to the hero.
Characteristics[edit]
The Master of Nu'un. He body is grey and orange with a green line separating the two colors. His spikes, horns, and tail spike are all a cream color. The remains of his cleric outfit are white, purple and yellow.
Story[edit]
The Master of Nu'un was created when Abbot Jack ate one of the golden fyggs. It is likely the first time the hero witnesses the corrupting powers of the fyggs. After defeating him, the hero and their party unlock the ability to change their vocations by talking to Abbot Jack.

Description | Jack of Alltrades ate a fygg that had fallen from above in a bid to become god-like, but turned into this hideous beast instead. Jack spent some time thinking up his god name, toying with 'High Jack' and 'Jackrilege' before setting on 'Master of Nu'un'. |

- His name is a reference to the term, "Master of None".
- Along with his original name, the name is a play to the idiom "Jack of all trades, master of none".
