Mechabubo (ピーチク, Pīchiku) is an infamous monster available in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.

Etymology[edit]
Mechabubo's name is a reference to the character Bubo, a mechanical owl created by the god Hephaestus in order to help the hero Perseus in the 1981 fantasy adventure film, Clash of the Titans.
