The Necrogond Shrine[1] is on the other side of the Maw of the Necrogond.
It's nearby the Great Pit of Giaga and the Castle of Baramos in Dragon Quest III.

After traveling through the Maw the Hero and company are given the Silver Orb from the only man living there, presumably a surviving minister from the destroyed Necrogond kingdom.

The surviving princess of the fallen Necrogond kingdom has been added to the shrine, who informs the player of the existence of slime hill south of the Castle of the Dragon Queen.
