The Staff of Resurrection is a recurring holy Wand in the Dragon Quest franchise.
It casts Zing when used as a tool in battle, and is best given to melee characters for use as a hail Mary while the group healer keeps the rest of the party alive.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation remake[edit]
The Staff of resurrection has an Attack bonus of +33. It can only be equipped by Priests and Sages and is acquired as a prize for turning in 90 Mini medals to the collector in Aliahan.
Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride[edit]
It has an Attack bonus of +66. Can be purchased as a casino prize for 45,000 tokens, and later can be bought in Precaria for 45,000 gold coins.
It can be equipped by the Hero, Bianca Whitaker, Nera Briscoletti, the Madchen, Dwight, the Barbatos, the Chimaera, Conkerer, Conkuisitor, Dracky, Epipany, Fandangow, Fat rat, Funghoul, Ghost, Grudgerigar, Hawk man, Hulagan, Hyperanemon, Killing machine, Mandrake marshal, Old man of the sea, Pocus poppet, Prestidigitator, Rebjørn, Samigina Snowbird, Ticking timeburrm, and Wiz pip.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit]
It has an Attack bonus of +66 and Style bonus of +38. Can be purchased at the item shop in Reaper's Peak for 45,000 gold coins and occasionally found by fighting a Demon steward at a painfully low rate of 1⁄4096.
Hirsute hexers can use it in battle.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]
The Staff of resurrection has an Attack bonus of +66 and a Style bonus of +38. It can only be equipped by Maribel Mayde and Sir Mervyn.
In the PS1 version, it can be purchased from the "Drand Cathedral" version of the completed The Haven for 45,000 gold coins and sold for 22,500 gold coins.
In the Nintendo 3DS Version, it can be obtained for defeating Robbin' 'Ood for the first time in the DLC Tablet Treasure Hunt.
- In the 3DS version, an upgraded version of the Staff of resurrection was added, called the Staff of Re-resurrection. This staff casts Kazing when used as an item in battle.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]
The Staff of resurrection has an Attack bonus of +77. It can only be equipped by Jessica Albert and Angelo and can be purchased from Tryan Gully for 45,000 gold coins. The Staff of resurrection can also be made in the Alchemy Pot.
