The Woodcutter's cabin is a location in the Dragon Quest series that appears in Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen.

The cabin is a small home hidden away in a forest located between the Hidden Valley and Casabranca.

The Woodcutter's cabin is the home of a lone woodcutter and his dog. He doesn't care much for visitors, especially kids, but he allows the Hero and party to rest for the night and lending them equipment early on.

It's later implied in Zenithia that the woodcutter is the Hero's grandfather, and this is supported by the grave outside his home. If the implications are true, the gravestone is the resting place of the Hero's father, who was struck by lightning for courting a Zenithian woman. To further this, there is an old man who walks at night in Casabranca. He will mention about how there is a woodcutter and his son who live in at the cabin when he arrives at the water after he walks there. He will talk about how the son will be killed by a bolt of lightning as well after falling in love with a girl in a forest.
