The Power Shield (formerly known as the Shield of Strength/Heal Shield) is a recurring shield in the Dragon Quest series. It casts Midheal on oneself when used as a item in combat.

The shield has a defense bonus of +18. It can be equipped by the Hero and the Prince of Cannock, but should be carried by all three cousins for its restorative properties.

Dragon Quest III

The power shield has a defense bonus of +50. It can be equipped by the Hero or warriors.

Dragon Quest IV

The power shield has a defense bonus of +40. The Hero, Torneko, Ragnar, and Kiryl can equip it.
