The '''Hotto Steppe''' is a mountainous region at the base of [[Mount Huji]] located far to the southeast of [[Erdrea]]. The town of [[Hotto]] is in the north and the [[Gallopolis Region]] is in the southwest.

==Etymology==
In the original Japanese, the Hotto Steppe's Japanese name, ''Homusubi Sanchi'' (ホムスビ山地) is a reference to the Japanese fire god [[Wikipedia:Kagu-tsuchi|Kagutsuchi]], who is also known by the name Homusubi. He is a patron deity of blacksmiths and ceramic workers.
