The Bunny tail is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series that first appeared in the Super Famicom remake of Dragon Quest III. The effect the Bunny tail brings the user tends to vary greatly from game to game.
Appearances
Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation
Increases the wearer's Luck by 8. Wearing it changes a character's personality to Happy camper. It can be bought in the town of Khoryv for 270 Gold Coins. It only appears in the remakes.
Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen
The Bunny Tail is an accessory that increases luck by 8. It only appears in the remakes.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
Increases style by 2. Costs 270 Gold. Can be equipped by all characters. The Bunny tail increases agility by 2 and can be bought for 50 Gold Coins and sold for 25. It can be made into a Bunny suit or with the Bunny ears through Alchemy.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
Described in game as "A fun and fluffy fashion item." Can be bought for 240 gold in Porth Llaffan and Zere and sold for 120 gold. Every vocation can equip it. It is also needed for a few alchemy recipes.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
The Bunny tail increases the wearer's item discovery and their agility. It is a rare drop from every member in the Bunicorn family of monsters.
Dragon Quest Swords
They can be sold for 5 gold, but not bought. Bunny tails have a defense bonus of +1. They are found in the field and in Lucky bag.
