The armour boasts a number of incredible qualities, including a high amount of defence, protection against fire and ice attacks, and slowly restoring the wearer's {{HP}} and {{MP}} when walking outside of battle. It is the initial form of the [[legendary armour]], the most protective armor in the game.


Victorious Armour is a piece of Armour in [[Dragon Quest IX]] that may be equipped by [[Warrior]]s, [[Minstrel]]s, [[Gladiator]]s, [[Paladin]]s, [[Armamentalist]]s, and members of the [[Luminary]] vocation. It boosts [[Defense]] by 78, and has the powerful effect of restoring HP and MP to the wearer as the party travels on the map. It is obtained 2% of the time from [[Excalipurr]] in Grottoes. It can be upgraded through [[Alchemy]] into [[Glorious Armour]], and further into [[Mythical Armour]] if not [[Legendary Armour]]. It can be sold for 20,000 coins, but due to the rarity of the item, it is ''highly'' recommended not to.
