Duelist is a talent in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince that teaches monsters the art of swordplay, focusing on finesse at first before switching over to powerful elemental slashes.

This talent is naturally learned by alarmours, killing machines, and rhinoceraxes. A scroll teaching the talent is also sold by Fizzy's shop on Sundays for 9,000.
