The sabrecat is a monster that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest II.

Characteristics[edit]

The ancestors of the great sabrecats both figuratively and literally, Sabrecats resemble the smilodons of the real world Plestiocene era and the mane-less Tsavo lions. They have sleek brown fur, solid yellow eyes, and a huge pair of upper canine teeth from their maws. They are dangerous foes in battle since they have a higher chance than normal to evade attacks, can attack twice in a single turn, and are capable of landing Desperate attacks.
